Job Description:
The Inventory Specialist will assist with the company’s inventory to help keep all acquisition, production, and distribution operations smooth and efficient. This is a full-time exempt position in our headquarter office located in Newark, Delaware. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and inventory management experience to support operational flow and ensure accuracy across all inventory processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field; or equivalent experience in inventory control or administrative roles.
- Proficient in inventory control processes and detailed record keeping.
- Demonstrates consistency in standard operating procedures and organizational policies.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling data and materials.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Strong communication (verbal and written), listening, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift or move items up to 40 lbs.
- Demonstrates ability to work effectively in a professional, team-based environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and internet-based applications.
Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory receipts, ensuring timely and accurate logging of inbound materials from both external and internal activities.
- Oversee the daily issuance and delivery of hardware and resin to the packing workshop, supporting uninterrupted production workflows.
- Organize and maintain warehouse storage to promote accessibility, proper material conditions, and prevent expiration or damage.
- Reconcile inventory balances regularly and verify warehouse operations to ensure ERP system data integrity.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory audits.
- Ensure materials prepared for shipment align with sales order specifications and in proper shipping conditions to meet customer’s shipping request
- Complete delivery documentation in ERP and communicate shipping confirmations to customers via email in a timely manner.
- Contribute to inventory reporting, data analysis, and continuous improvement projects that enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist with shipping logistics as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Support external inventory audits (semiannual and annual) by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests.
