Job Description:
Sepax Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly-motivated and talented individual to join our Instrument team as Instrument Engineer/Senior Instrument Engineer. This individual will play a key role in the development of analytical instrumentation for biological separation by providing engineering expertise to the design, testing and implementation of new instruments.

Requirements:

• A MS/Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline
• Experience with design and development of analytical instrumentation, preferably HPLC systems
• Understanding of design and documentation control
• Strong computer skills are required. Programming ability will be a huge plus
• Team-oriented with the ability to perform tasks independently
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and test new analytical instrumentation
• Lead the product design cycle by coordinating design specs development as well as other related design packages
• Ensure the smooth transfer from design to prototyping to manufacturing
• Identify and resolve engineering challenges in the development of instrumentation
• Provide technological support to internal and external customers
