  • SRT SEC - High Capacity and High Resolution Size Exclusion Phases
    Utilizing proprietary surface technologies, SRT SEC phases are made of the uniform, hydrophilic, and neutral nanometer thick films chemically bonded on the high purity and enhanced mechanical stability silica. This proprietary surface technology results in excellent column-to-column reproducibility. The nature of the chemical bonding and the maximum bonding density of the thin film benefit SRT SEC phases with high stability and negligible non-specific interactions. Along with the widest pore size selection of 100, 150, 300, 500, 1000 and 2000Å, SRT SEC packings have highest capacity that enables highest resolution.
  • Nanofilm SEC - Low Salt and Organic Buffer Separations
    Utilizing proprietary surface technologies, Nanofilm SEC phases are made of the uniform, hydrophilic, neutral, and polymeric thin films chemically bonded on the high purity and enhanced mechanical stability silica. Nanofilm SEC phases have been innovatively and specially designed to ensure high resolution and maximum recovery for the separation of biological molecules at low salt concentration or organic buffers. The narrow dispersed, spherical silica particles of the Nanofilm packings for SEC-150, SEC-250, SEC-500, and SEC-1000 have nominal pore sizes at 150, 250, 450, and 950 Å, respectively.

Differentiation of SRT and Nanofilm SEC Phases
Compared to Nanofilm SEC products, SRT SEC products offer higher separation capacity and higher resolution, as well as more pore size selections which enable broader separation applications. Nanofilm SEC phases are more stable and more suitable for the separation of highly positively charged biological molecules at low salt concentration or volatile organic salt mobile phases, multi-dimensional separation and LC/MS applications that had been problems for conventional SEC phases. Nanofilm SEC phases and SRT SEC phases have different selectivity.
Applications
The combination of SRT SEC and Nanofilm SEC phases provide a total solution for the size exclusion separation of biological molecules, water soluble polymers, virus and bacteria, as well as nanoparticles.
